NUCLEAR STRESS TEST:

A Nuclear Stress Test is a diagnostic study used to determine if the heart muscle is getting the blood supply it needs.

EXERCISE STRESS TEST:

The exercise stress test (EST) evaluates cardiovascular response to physical stress. This test provides information on myocardial response to increased oxygen demands and coronary blood flow.

ENHANCED EXTERNAL COUNTERPULSATION (EECP):

EECP is a noninvasive treatment for patients with coronary artery disease. Clinical studies over the past several years have shown that about 75% of patients treated with a single course of EECP experience a reduction in angina and are able to return to a more active lifestyle. This therapy is for patients with coronary disease which is not amenable to corrective therapy by either angioplasty or bypass surgery.

ECHOCARDIOGRAM:

An echocardiogram is a non-invasive, diagnostic cardiac exam, which uses ultrasound to show the anatomical structures and blood flow in the heart. The test enables the Cardiologist to assess the overall function of the heart and to identify cardiac abnormalities.

VASCULAR LABORATORY TESTING:

A Vascular Doppler Test is a diagnostic study used to determine if there is any plaque or blockage of an artery or vein using an ultrasound probe and gel. Each study averages about 1/2 hour to 1 hour per procedure. There is no pain or preparation for this examination.

ELECTRICAL CARDIOLOGY DEVICE INTERROGATION AND EVALUATION

These devices can enjoy a prolonged life through maintenance monitoring and interrogation. The evaluation is noninvasive, with no pain or preparation for the examination.

T wave Alternans testing

This is a test done to determine if defibrillator insertion would be beneficial. It is similar to a treadmill stress test with monitoring. The test is noninvasive and also is without pain.
