Dr. Rashesh Shah is an Interventional Cardiologist practicing at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Shah was part of an accelerated 7-year BS/MD program at Rutgers University, where he obtained a dual degree in Biomedical Engineering and Cell Biology & Neuroscience.
Dr. Shah received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA with a distinction in education. He did additional training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Dr. Shah specializes in invasive cardiac procedures including catheterizations, angioplasty, stenting, peripheral interventions, pulmonary embolectomy, and structural procedures such as TAVR.
Outside of work, Dr. Shah enjoys hiking, backpacking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
